A Little Behind

Yes, a little behind, it's what we all dream of...oh, no that's not exactly what I meant. I'm a little behind today because someone called me a Grinch yesterday and I made that somebody take me Christmas shopping and now that somebody wishes he had kept his mouth shut. I had loads of fun, I promise you. Yesterday I went to see Dr. Um, my Podiatrist. There I was thinking I was going to get the lecture about having surgery to correct my hammer toe situation (I have 8 toes involved, not 10, so it is still a situation, not an abomination). I was quite surprised when he didn't bring it up at all and instead I got the most marvelous foot massage, nail clipping (he said he was a farrier on the side and was quite happy that I got his little joke...I neighed quite happily, even managed a whinny or two). My feet felt five pounds lighter and ten years younger when he was finished. The foot massage was so great that if I was still a smoker I'd have had a cigarette before leaving the treatment room. So, that's why I'm a little behind. Now I'm going go visit all my friends and see what you have been doing...something noteworthy and fun, I'm sure....see you in the Blog Rooms...

I want to see that man!!! My feet just ache for such a massage. I adore my husband but he is not a good foot massager. : ( I can't have everything now can I?
I too have hammer toesies and *buniony* big toes that lean in. Just lovely huh? Argh...

I need a podiatrist!!! Please tell me he is cute too...and gives his patients chocolate truffles and I will be right down. *grin*

Love,
Sue

Oh that was funny! Thanks for the chuckles. I'd whinny, too, for a foot massage.

OH!! What I wouldn't give for a "great" foot massage. I am like Susie Q...my husband is a wonderful man...but he really tires easily when it comes to foot or back massages...but he's a keeper. I've had full body massages before...but I tell you if they would just spend most of the time on my feet and back...I would leave there a very happy gal.

Sorry I haven't responded to your last couple of comments...I have been really busy these last few weeks...I haven't seem to be able to catch up w/everything since my trip...but I'm coming around. Thanks for the sweet comments about my beautiful daughter...she will be here in a couple of days for Thanksgiving w/her loving hubbin' and there baby (my granddog)...so I'll be able to smother her with mother love!

Thanks again....I'll try to do better about posting...but I can't promise anything too grand before Thanksgiving...

Have a blessed Thanksgiving...and with a podiatrist like yours...I would be taking him some pumpkin pie w/lots of whipped cream...and beg shamelessly for another foot massage...

blessings...
Teresa

That sounds like "heaven on earth". The only time I get a foot massage is when I go for a pedicure and I'm in need of one now.

Hugs!

Ooohhh a foot massage sounds absolutely wonderful. Do you know I heard my first Christmas Carols of the season on the radio yesterday. It was kinda nice cause I just went out and got in the car and there were some snow flurries too.

Ohhhhh I love foot massages. Well, any kind of massage. I get a massage once a month.

My hairdresser's shampoo lady, gives the best head massages when she shampoos me...

I have my fingers in too many pies!
My eyes are stinging they are so tired........little sleep last night as my little man kept waking me up, no not Hubby Sandi, Fred needing his bot bot.
I have a nice G&T waiting, so bye for now.
