Playing Catch Up

Okay, it's time for Idol Kick Off and I choose Brook. Oh PLEASE give the boot to the Queen of Whine (and not Neil Diamond's Red Red Wine), the Duchess of Boredom, I want her GONE! I'll be watching for her departure, oh please let it be her departure.

Daddy is quite well and the town is about to hold An Appreciation Day for him (it's a secret, he'll be thrilled. Seems they thought their Doctor had died or worse, moved. Did I mention that he treats 2/3 of his patients for free? It is the poor and the elderly and Law Enforcement who get this gift. He fullfills his oath...first to do no harm.

Baby Kitty needs a name...I am going to have a contest to name the Baby...here's a picture of the now 5 week old bundle of energy....

So, send those names in and we'll chose one ...more pictures to follow!

Thank you all for the support you have been to me...I'm not so tired as I was but what an uplift to the spirit you have all been!

Love to you all

So good to know that your dad is doing well. Sounds as if a wonderful evening of recognition is long overdue! He'll love it and it will be so good for the entire community.

My vote is still for "Biscuit" or "Angel Biscuit" or "A.B." or any variation thereof for your sweet little kitty. ;>

Glad your Dad is doing well Sandi. Okay I am going to have to think about a name for the sweet baby kitty. He/she is so cute.

If it's any help, she's a she!

Aunt Sandie, I'm so happy to hear Dad is doing well. I would love to see his reaction when he finds out he's being appreciated.

So I consulted with minime for the cat name and he says Rohan or legolas.

Just read the kitten is a she...

or Pixie.

Well, it isn't very original but I thought "Tiger" was good or if you want to be cute "Tigger". She does have stripes afterall.

Melanie. I have no idea why. It just came to me! LOL!! I believe most animals should have regular people names! : )

I am so pleased to hear your dad is doing well!! I hope you post lots of pictures of his party!

Great news about your dad and it's good to hear that you're feeling better, too!

Your wish came true...but I have to be honest and say that I did tear up just a bit. She couldn't possibly have thought she might win the whole shootin' match but she seemed honestly sad to be leaving. Giving a big Thank You was a nice thing. ;)

Looks like Brooke got the boot as you wished. I agree it was her time. I want David Cook to win.
I am glad your dad is doing good, I guess I have been behind, I didn't know anything was wrong.
For some reason I like the name Duchess and Abbie's suggestion, Pixie. Too cute. Hope you find her a name soon. She's adorable. Send love your way from all of us.

Doctors can do a great deal of harm to people's finances. Your dad is well deserving of his upcoming special day. I hope he is thrilled by the honor!

I think that next time you post about Idol I will have to not read everyone's comments!! We are getting the singing tonight, and the elimination tomorrow night, so luckily only a couple of days behind you! Looking forward to the show though.

How's about giving the little kitten a huge big name like Princess Sweet Pea! Not expecting you to take that one seriously but I love the name Amy, short, snappy and pretty all at the same time!

Remember Viola in Twelfth Night? She was lost at sea, then washed up on a strange coast only to find her true love there. I think you have a little Viola.
Glad to hear your Dad is doing better.

I want David Cook to win, but seriously I like Brooke, I WOULD buy an album from her.
My kids liked her.

Sandie...
Love that the town is "celebrating" your dad in such an extrordinary way...I know that he is a "blessing" to many in his community! He deserves his own day...I am thrilled he is doing better and is healing well.

Now for the name...the other day...I thought of Wellsley...b/c he was found at the well pump...but now that I find he is a she...well...I am having some difficulty...but I think I like Beulah...it's from an old Hailey Mills movie...w/ Burl Ives..."The Yellow House" or something...I can't remember the name of the movie...but I think the name of the town was "Beulah"...for some reason that is what came to me...or you could name her "Star" because she has become quite the celebrity in her own right...after all she has been staring in your blog for a while, now...Good Luck picking the name...if I think of anymore...I'll forward those, too...I just love naming animals, people, things...love it!

Blessings...

I think that is fantastic that the town is doing a salute to your Dad. Sounds like it's a very well deserved tribute for him, for sure.
I'll have to consult my daughter here about a name for the kitten though. She's usually been the pet namer in the family.

It was a toss up for me between Jason and Brooke. I liked Jason's version of Forever in Blue Jeans and I liked Brooke's version of I Am, I Said. Both of their other songs were terrible, though. Having said that, I don't think Brooke was made for huge stardom. She's way too emotional to be in the spotlight for long. Still...her awkward dancing always reminded me of Maddy Moose so it was tough to see her go for that reason alone. lol
Glad your dad is doing so much better! Dad's mean a lot, don't they? :)
As for the kitty name....hmmmmmm, I like Lynn's suggestion of Wellie. Or how about Wellwisher. That sounds about funky enough to be a good cat name! lol
