The Christmas Menagerie

Opening with Maxine can't be a bad thing. Can it? Well, anyway, no tree at my house is complete without Santa Frog....I do love frogs...

And how's about a little trip with an ancient Santa? His pack is all loaded with toys and candy.

And here are some old warriors...I see we located one that is complete....Above see the jolly snowman....below are the Nutcrackers

Move along Paddington, you're drawing a crowd...

So, this is a bit of what I have saved over the years....and yesterday received the most beautiful card handmade by Sissy...I mean Kari...will save it to hang every year because she put so much work into them, I'm afraid she's suffering from Christmas Card Burnout....well, back to the sofa for a bit of a lie down...refusing to give in completely to med effects works sort of...but every so often, I'm just a weakling! Back soon...like maybe Tuesday...xo

Love that snowman. And the Santa. And the soldiers. And Sherri would love the frogs. She's a frog fanatic these days. I found her the world's ugliest ceramic frog (it was wearing a Santa hat so that helped improve its looks a little!) and gave it to her, kind of like a joke. She said she was going to take it to work and put it on her desk. Geez. Me? I might have put in UNDER my desk, but never ON it. lol

Hope you're feeling better soon and no, I'm not suffering from Christmas card burnout. In fact, now that I'm done making them, I feel sort of bereft, like I have no project to get out of bed in the morning for. lol Maybe I should start on NEXT year's cards, huh?

I have never seen frogs on trees. I have to say that the touch of whimsey touches my heart!

Find a warm blankie and snuggle in!

And the other elf said, "Really? We had turkey!" Ha ha ha!! Hope you had a giggle on the couch, take care hon and have a restful Sunday:) Jenn and Jacui xo

Hi Sandi,
The things we hang onto....my loft is bursting. But when you get to dig them out aren't you glad that you did keep them. My hubby wants to throw everything out, drives me mad.
I love all your little Christmas men...
Hugs,
Carol x
