Tell Me Why
Before you begin to play the video, pause the music player on the side bar or you will get bleed over on the music.
So often we ask ourselves why, during an election year, people become hard and vindictive, often blaming all the ills of the world on one man, when many should be held responsible. And not just the citizens and polititions of our nation, but many nations. We ban religeon and then cry out for God's help. I'm sure He is confused by all this, too. I remember one lesson well that Jesus taught...and a little child shall lead them. Please, enjoy this video. I hope someone has the answer. Then, tell me why. Please.

Sandi, that was an awesome video. The kids voice is amazing and he obviously has a great career ahead of him. I liked the meaning in the song too. That really moved me. Who is the kid? Where did you find this video?
Hugs!
What a great video!
I wonder why too.
Hugs!
Kat
If I could I would.
Best wishes
Such a sad song. I couldn't listen to all of it (dial up) but I do recognize it as Brad Paisley with Allison Krauss; and I "believe" the song is Life is Short.
I wish we all knew why.
HiSandi,
Great video!
I often wonder why too, wish I knew the answer but...I don't!
Hope you're having a great wk.
Blessins',Lib
Great video.
I wish I had the answer. :(
What a beautiful song and all the more so coming from such a small voice. Sometimes best not to dwell on these things. Don't know if there is an answer.
Very moving... that young man has a fabulous voice...
as for the answer .... I dont believe there are any.... I agree with you the fact that we ban God and then question why things are how they are? Seems we only want HIM when times are bad...forget thanking Him when things are good
Too many questions on how things have gotten so out of hand...
We need to take responsibility for what we have done ...however no one makes people accountable for their mistakes anymore
The kid can sing, can't he? And a great message, too! I find, as a teacher, that we sometimes learn to blame others at an early age. Learning to take responsibility is difficult, but makes you a much better person!
What a moving and beautiful video. The little boy singing is amazing.
And I often wonder why all the horrible things in the world happen.

If everyone took responsibility instead of assiging blame, imagine...just imagine.
Hugs,
Penny
I do remember the song. My hubby was in a band when we met and they used to play it.
Oh Man! If I had even just a penny for every time I have asked that question -with respect to politics, government and the like -I would be right up there now with the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts and a kazillion others like them! Obviously, being filthy rich doesn't give one the answers though because none of those folks ever had a a solution nor do the bazillion people who are dirt poor and the ones that fall in between. It's the question I think no one knows the answer to but sure wouldn't hurt if we talked to the one person who does hold the key a bit more, don't 'cha think? But not so much to ask His help but rather to ask how He would like us to help instead.
Just stopping by to wish you a happy 'Tasha Tudor Remembrance Day In Blog Land,' today, Aug. 28th.

I wish I knew the answer Sandi! We are all responsible, I guess.
Thanks for kind comments on my blog!
Hi Sandi,
I'm amazed you're writing about this because I just sent an email to most of my email list with Colossians 3:12-14 "clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience...and over all these, put on love. It was a gentle reminder to not get all caught up in the emotional side of politics.
You know what they say about great minds :)
There's an award for you on my blog...come see!
hugs,

That is a great song and video. I still can't figure why we participate in Olympic "Games" Yet we continue fighting. If we can put our hatred aside for these games why not for good?
It's all about accountability, isn't it? There are many times I've wondered why also. We all need to look in the mirror, I think. Thanks for the reminder.
Hugs to you!
MOMS IS THE ONE i TYPED.
Unfortunately I cannot view videos here at school so I will have to wait until I go home to see it. I am sharing your concerns, though... no prayer in school but all I do all day long is pray for these little guys who grace my door!
Awesome and powerful Sandi.
You ask why - you know the answer to that. But I'll say it anyway...
Why?
Because of one man. One man brought sin into the world(Romans 5:12)and the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)
With it he brought disease, pain, suffering and hardship. (Genesis 3:17-19)
God had an original plan - for man to live forever on a paradise earth. (Genesis 1:28-31)
This plan had to change when Adam sinned and allowed imperfection to enter the world. With imperfection came all the strife. God at the time of the first sin, made a plan that was both loving and just (showing his wisdom) to enable us to regain that paradise and everlasting life. (Genesis 3:15)
One man equal to the one that made us all imperfect could pay the ransom. That one had to be a perfect man. Only a perfect man could pay a ransom for the life lost by a perfect man.
God's only Son, Jesus, is the only perfect one able to come to earth and take human form to pay the ransom.
The ransom is paid with His sacrifice.(Mark 10:45)All that is required is that you exercise faith in him. That is, actively have faith and do his will. (John 3:36; 3:16,17; Hebrews 5:9)
Now the devil is prowling around the earth like a roaring lion, ready to devour (1 Peter 5:8) and this is why you see the suffering, the war, the selfishness and diseases of today. God's Kingdom is coming. (Matthew 6:10; 10:7; Luke 17:20,21)
Even Satan the devil knows this, which is why it is getting worse - he is getting desperate because his time is short.(Revelation 12:12)
So that is why.
Paradise WILL be restored. When God's Kingdom comes. And all this pain and suffering will end. I look forward to that day. (See Isaiah 11:6-9; Revelation 21:4)
[There are hundreds of other scriptures too]
(((HUGS))) and love.
PS My response is not about blame. It is just answering the question...
(Before anyone says! sorry the comment got long). *hugs*
Sadly, I echo your question. Why, indeed.
