I am so lucky to have all of you for my friends. Today I am feeling better health wise, thank you so much. But we lost Aerial, my little blogging buddy at 2:30 pm and so I won't be back in till Monday. I have to get myself together over this one. Nineteen years with a beloved animal is like an eternity to them, I'm sure. Thank you all so much for the kind questions and concerns, you mean so much to me that I am not sure how I'd get along without you now. Hold us in your hearts, till Monday then

Aw, Sandi -I am so sorry for your loss and yes, I do understand how you feel as we lost our beloved "Gracie Baby" back in April. We'd had her for 16 1/2 years of pure joy.
Oh no! Sandi, I'm so sorry your beloved companion is gone. It always hurts when we lose those family members. I'm sure there's a place saved for her in heaven. You're in my prayers, asking for peace and comfort.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost your beloved Aerial. It's a very, very hard time to go through, I know only too well. My most recent losses have been dogs, and The Pirate is thirteen in just a few days - the equivalent to a ninety year old man, for a greyhound.
No doubt I'll go through it again, since we tend to take on the seniors, and no doubt you will too. Many hugs to you. I will be thinking of you.
Sandi, I am so sorry to read about your illness and the loss of your Aerial.
Please take good care and you'll be in my prayers until I know that you are vertical again.

Oh Sandi I feel for you m'dear. I remember the feeling so well from when we had to have our beloved dog, Guinness, put to sleep. We'd had him since he was 6 weeks old and at 17 he was in poor health. Take your time honey. xx

I lost mine this year too and oddly looks like her- I cannot even say her name- When we are ill it seems to hit us sometimes so hard .I think so that we can get back up and treasure life even moreso than before if that's possible. do you follow my train of thought here?? sk When I was so sick in bed with cancer, my dog died. I don't think I could have faced it if I weren't so sick and fighting for my own life,,sk

Only a pet lover would understand and I know exactly how you feel... I lost my best friend PEPPER ...my American Bulldog when she was less than 6 years old in 2006...to cancer..... too young... it broke my heart ...
Ariel was with you for a long time and lived a full and quite happy life... take comfort in that

I was going to say that I hated for you to be so worrie about your sweet baby, especially when you felt so ill...then I saw today's post.
My heart breaks with yours...for you.
I DO believe there is a spot in Heaven for our fur babies. Oh ho precious it was to have her for such a long time...hild those sweet memories close and know you are in many prayers and hearts right now.

omg im soooo sorry. I understand your loss 100%. I lost Casey, our 20 year old, Angel, our 22 year old, and Sushi our Lilac Point Siamese to heart disease (10) all within 4 months of each other this year...it was devastating....im so sorry for your loss.
