Sandi just called me and wanted me to leave a comment here that she is safely through surgery and that it went well. She is staying in the hospital one more day. She thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers.

Sandi: prayers for your rapid recovery. I have several bloggers and personal friends with RA. Some have more physical deformitives than others. I feel pain when I see them.

I know you have the best of medical advice.

Sandi..... so sorry that I only just got round to reading this. The ankle looks really painful and I am thinking of you and hoping you have had successful surgery and wish you a speedy recovery.
Your faith does you credit and is inspiring.
